The stock center support bearing carrier secures the driveshaft using a thin rubber bushing. While this design helps minimize noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) in the cabin, it doesn’t provide adequate support under load. Over time, the factory bushing tends to sag, compromising driveshaft alignment, and creating slop in the driveline during shifts and throttle application.
